Axia Vegetable Seeds is strengthening its team with the arrival of Paul van Paassen as its new account manager. Born and raised in Kwintsheul, Paul brings with him an impressive 34 years of growing experience in the tomato sector.

At 18, Paul began his entrepreneurial career and a few years later, he and his father established a new company in Bleiswijk. For over three decades, he has grown a wide range of tomatoes, from loose tomatoes to medium vine and large tomatoes, and for the past six years, successfully developed snack vine tomatoes. His company has since been leased to a hydrangea grower, after which Paul consciously took the step to pursue a new challenge outside his own business.

Effective December 1st, Paul will join Axia Vegetable Seeds, where he will support a selection of Dutch customers. In December, he will personally visit these growers to meet them and guide them through their cultivation process. Paul is also open to discussions with other growers who would like to visit the demonstration greenhouse or discuss tomato cultivation.

With his years of practical experience and passion for the trade, Paul is a valuable addition to the Axia Vegetable Seeds team.
